Things I loved about last night:

Seeing Stan Musial

Joe Torre and Mariano Rivera getting huge cheers from the crowd

Seeing Obama chatting it up with the guys in the clubhouses

Hated that old curmudgeon McCarver basically recoiling from the President in the booth. BOOOO

Hated Ichiro for not giving Crawford a chance to steal. Take a pitch or two, willya?

Loved rooting for guys from rival AL teams

I even loved rooting for some of my favorite NL guys ( just not as much)

Loved watching Pap almost give up the bacon to two consecutive hitters

Really loved watching Crawford save Pap’s bacon

Watching Joe Mauer put his arm around Greinke after that tremendous inning he had ( the best)

Watching Granderson interview guys, play defense, hit,  and especially RUN ~

Great defense overall ( except Pujols and David Wright in the 1st )

Werth’s Running catch--it wasn’t ALL about Crawford

Watching Mariano

Watching all the AL guys watching Mariano ( especially taking care of Hawpe)
